Lighting console Diamond 7 D7-215 - 15 fader 2 touchscreen 14" - AVOLITES AVO-30-01-7202

Avolites Diamond 7 D7-215 extends the Diamond lighting console range with a creative control surface developed for visual designers. It sits just below the Diamond 9 in Avolites’ product hierarchy and incorporates many of the series’ technical and design solutions. The console provides 15 faders and 2 14" touch displays.

Its control surface is flexible and highly functional, with a layout designed to let lighting designers create, program and operate lighting setups directly. The button caps, faders, encoder knobs and wheels, together with the level wheel, are all made specifically for this console.

The surface includes 2 main 14" capacitive touch screens with 850 nits, 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and adjustable brightness. A further 4.3" capacitive touch screen provides 850 nits, 800 x 480 pixel resolution and adjustable brightness for macros and the workspace. The 15 touch-sensitive motorised faders are supplied with fader caps. The dual motorised master cue-list fader is touch-sensitive and has 9 control buttons.

Further controls include an RGB fader indicator, 15 ultra-high-resolution touch-sensitive playback encoders with push function and RGB encoder indicator, plus 60 dedicated C&K playback buttons with positive tactile feedback. Each playback section has independent paging. There are also 10 backlit Macro / Executor keys and 10 soft Macro buttons with a legend shown on the Macro screen.

All programming buttons feature RGB backlighting and short-travel Cherry MX Low Profile switches. The surface is completed by 5 custom RGB-backlit optical attribute encoders, a dedicated level wheel with on-screen level indication, and a fully custom backlit QWERTY keyboard housed in the drawer. An additional external touchscreen can be connected through DisplayPort at up to 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The entire structure is made from aluminium to reduce weight. The clamshell LCD panel design reduces the transport footprint, while its locking mechanism and screen articulation can be adjusted in 6° steps from –90 to 155° from vertical. All screens are flush-mounted, and a comfortable arm rest is included.

Diamond 7 supports animation-based generative pixel mapping, Quicksketch labelling for extensive customisation and powerful multi-user networking with any other Titan console. Advanced cue lists support macros, tracking, autoloads and Time Code. The DMX capability is Synergy-ready and can be expanded with Titan Net processors to increase the available DMX channel capacity.

The D7-215 fits inside a Pelicase Air 1615 flight case. Its total weight remains below the European hold limit of 23 kg, making transport by air easier as well. The corresponding case must also be purchased for use with the console; its code is 09-01-7215.
