Avolites AvoKey A2+ is a USB-C dongle that enables Titan or Prism and links lighting control with multimedia content management. The AvoKey A1+, A2+ and A3+ collection expands the available functions: with Titan it supports D3, T3 and Titan Mobile Wing, provides D3 Touch integration for remote Titan activation through a touchscreen, and enables Titan WebAPI for third-party integrations. With Prism it unlocks more displays and, by the end of the year, DMX Pixels with 1 to 4 DMX channels per pixel, ranging from simple brightness control to full RGBW.

A2+ enables 2048 Titan channels and 2 Prism video outputs. From the end of the year it will also support 2048 DMX Pixels; when RGBW pixels are used, this corresponds to 16 universes. The dongle provides a larger programming environment for complex shows, integrates USB MIDI, supports Avolites Wings and includes WebAPI for a modern, flexible workflow. The Capture engine provides 3D visualisation. Titan supports DMX512 (E1.11), while Prism handles 32,768 DMX channels per system, 4 physical, NDI or RTSP inputs, 16 surfaces, 17 blend modes, 256 elements per bank, 2 physical, NDI or RTSP display outputs, 2048 DMX Pixels, 16 layers and 256 banks.

Maximum surface resolution is 8K / Super High Definition (SHD) square, 7680 × 7680 px; output resolution reaches 4K / Ultra High Definition (UHD) square, 3840 × 3840 px. AvoKey enables Titan PC Suite or Prism through USB-C. Each physical device requires its own AvoKey. The collection supports both applications, but Titan and Prism were developed separately because running them on separate dedicated hardware provides the best performance and stability. Prism simplifies video content management in lighting design projects: it can pre-visualise, organise and encode media, combine video and lighting, improve pixel mapping and synchronise shows through timecode. It supports pre-rendered content and real-time input, including workflows for less experienced users.
