Active HDMI 2.0 armoured optical cable 20m - BEETEK BEE-GDH03-20M

The Beetek BEE-GDH03-20M is a 20 m armoured HDMI 2.0 active optical cable for long-distance HDMI video and audio transmission. It is intended for rental and staging, live events, residential installations and video surveillance. It carries 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 sampling and an 18 Gbps bandwidth. The cable complies with the HDMI 2.0 protocol and the supplier text states HDCP 2.2 support; the technical characteristics also list HDCP 2.3.

Its patented HDMI 2.0 connector transfers the signal without delay or compression and supports resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz (4:4:4). The TPU outer jacket and steel spiral structure provide two layers of protection, with the product description stating that this construction doubles durability. High-strength adhesive rip ties are included to make storage easier. Company information can be added with the transparent heat-shrink sleeves supplied with the cable.

The cable length is 20 m and the signal type is HDMI 2.0. Both input and output use HDMI Type A male connectors. The fastening system is the "C-LOCK" type and a connector of this type is provided. The optical section uses 4 OM3-300 multimode fibres and operates from 850 to 1300 nm. The copper section contains 7 multi-strand tinned copper wires, specified as 24AWG1, 26AWG1, 28AWG3 and 30AWG2. The cable structure combines optical fibre, inner jacket, Kevlar, copper wire, aluminium foil, armoured tube and outer jacket. Overall cable diameter is 5.8 mm. The jacket is black and made from matt frosted TPU. The spiral tube has a 2.88 mm ±0.1 mm diameter, silver colour and stainless steel construction. Packing dimensions are 240 x 230 x 75 mm.

Video and control functions include EDID pass-through, DDC, HDMI audio, 3D, CEC, ARC, HDR and XvYCC colour space, each listed as supported. The optical module is a 4 x 10G multimode optical unit using photoelectric conversion technology. Its stated lifetime is 100,000 hours. Resolution is 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, clock bandwidth is 600 MHz x 3 and transmission rate is 18 Gbps.
