The Beetek G202-150USM-8LC kit brings three items together in a single package: a 150 m fibre optic cable (G202-150USM-8LC), a DF200 cable reel and a BH03 protective cap designed to safeguard the optical fibre during installations.

The cable is an 8-core single-mode armoured outdoor cable with a TPU jacket, built with cutting-edge technology and 150 m long. It is made to measure for harsh environments where cabling has to be run quickly. Armoured fibre optic cables, also called armoured sheath cables, have an outer protective layer made of metal materials and fibres. This construction gives mechanical protection against physical damage, moisture and other environmental factors, so the cable can cope with any demanding environment. Both the core and the length can be customised to suit your needs. LC / SC / ST / FC interfaces are optional, with a 1000 mm branch. The cable suits rental work, live event staging and networking applications.

Main features of the cable: a 5-layer construction made up of an armoured steel ring, a braid and aramid fibre; a 9/125 single-mode core; a soft TPU sheath that resists rodent bites, tensile stress and compression; customisable cable length and cable core.

It protects very well against drops and impacts, and it can be stacked vertically or horizontally, or hung up, for easy transport and storage. It holds 250 m of fibre optic cable or 150 m of network cable with a 5 mm outer diameter. A single person can handle it with ease and can unwind and retract the cable quickly. It is conceived for repeated use and for distributing mobile cable runs. Its distinctive outer design lets you stack it vertically or horizontally, or hang it on racks, freeing up space and making it simple to grab and carry. The fully enclosed reel stays safe from drops and impacts that may happen in transit.

The BH03 is a medium-sized detachable protective cap with an aluminium alloy shell, which safeguards fibre optic and other kinds of cable during installations. It accepts any cable with an outer diameter of up to 35 mm. A simple but effective accessory, designed for the rental and staging industry, it shields six-core fibre optic, CAT, SDI, HDMI, DP and other cables from harsh environments. It weighs 56.6 g and is suited to fibre, CAT and HDMI / DP cables.
