Firmware updater DMX 2+ 512 channels with battery - Briteq BEG-B05019

Briteq Firmware Updater 2+ is a digital DMX programmer for updating the firmware of DMX-compatible effects and projectors. It works without PC software and without an external power supply: power input is USB 5 V DC, while the internal battery is recharged through the mini-USB input. The DMX IN and OUT connections allow one or more fixtures to be upgraded at the same time. The output uses a 3-pin XLR connector.

Firmware files for several different projectors can be stored in the unit. A matrix LCD display helps locate and select the files saved on the micro SD card. The supplied accessories comprise a USB/micro SD-card adaptor, a mini-USB cable and a micro SD card. The updater can also monitor the DMX values of all 512 DMX channels, operate as a DMX controller for quickly testing any DMX projector, and store and run a 20-step programme with fade and speed control.

RDM functionality permits remote changes to the DMX address and DMX mode of RDM-compatible light effects and projectors. The unit is programmable and its software is upgradable. It has a black finish, an LCD display and an indoor IP rating. Inputs are USB and RDM; outputs are 3-pin XLR and RDM. Dimensions are 12.4 x 7 x 3.8 cm and weight is 0.13 kg. Several Firmware Updater models are available, so the required version must be checked before updating a projector.
