8-channel chain hoist motor controller - BRITEQ RICO-V8 Mk2 BEG-B07005

RICO-V8 Mk2 is a stand-alone motor controller for chain hoists, providing direct up/down control for 8 separate channels and Master/Slave connection. It can operate a maximum of 8 separate motors and includes double safety through an additional relay backup system that activates in critical situations. The controller is fully compatible with the previous RICO-V4 and RICO-V8 models.

Multiple units can be connected in Master/Slave mode through the IN/OUT connections on the rear panel, making it easier to control a larger number of chain hoists. The master controller provides simultaneous hoist operation through its up/down buttons and includes a centralised emergency stop. An LED Slave indicator and a manual phase-reversal switch for each output are also provided.

The output configuration offers flexibility, including for rental companies: 4 individual CEE16 4-pole 16 A outputs; 2 16-pin multi-channel industrial rectangular connectors compatible with Harting; 2 19-pin multi-channel industrial round connectors compatible with Socapex; and 1 16 A powerCON socket with earthing for auxiliary output. The remote-control input uses XLR and has an LED indicator for connection of the optional RICO-REMOTE.

Phase indicators make it easy to check whether all 3 phases are available. The 32 A 4-pole circuit breaker protects ALL outputs, including the 32 A output to the next unit; in an emergency, all 3 phases and neutral are disconnected. A C16 circuit breaker rated 16 A, 1P+N and 2 poles protects the control circuit. The auxiliary output is protected by a 16 A RCBO with 30 mA leakage-current protection.

The mains input cable is rated 3 x 32 A, has 5 wires and is fitted with a 32 A CEE 3P+N+E input plug. The CEE 3P+N+E output socket, rated 3 x 32 A with 5 wires, provides bypass. The extremely robust housing is made of metal and has a 19" / 4U format. The product is designed and built in Europe according to the highest international safety standards. It is fully compliant with EU directives 2014/35/EU (LVD) and 2014/30/EU (EMC), as well as EN 60204-32:2008, safety of machinery - Part 32: requirements for lifting machines; EN 60204-1:2018, safety of machinery - Part 1: general requirements; EN IEC 61000-6-2:2019, EMC - immunity standard for industrial environments; and EN IEC 61000-6-4:2019, EMC - emission standard for industrial environments.
