Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2 is a versatile camera for traditional broadcast and online transmission. Its 6K sensor provides a resolution of 6144 x 3456 pixels, high image quality and wide dynamic range. It accepts B4, Canon EF and PL lens mounts (Positive Lock, developed by ARRI), allowing the most suitable lens to be selected. The camera can operate as a 4K production camera, 4K studio camera or 6K digital camera for broadcast, video production, ENG troops and digital film applications.
URSA Broadcast G2 records H.265, ProRes and Blackmagic RAW to SD, UHS-II and CFast 2.0 cards or external USB disks. The 4" capacitive LCD touchscreen provides control and monitoring, while the built-in ND filter wheel has four positions: clear, 2 stops, 4 stops and 6 stops. Dual native ISO provides up to 36 dB of gain for strong low-light performance. Connectivity includes 12G-SDI IN/OUT, XLR audio inputs and outputs, one USB-C port for external recording and one USB-C port for software updates. Remote control via Blackmagic Control Protocol also enables integration into live production environments.
