The Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 offers the same features as large studio cameras, but in a compact and portable format, designed for professional productions with SDI switchers. Unlike the Studio Camera 6K Pro model, it does not feature a Super 35 sensor or an EF mount. Instead, it retains the 4/3 cinematic sensor with a 13-stop dynamic range and a Micro Four Thirds mount, compatible with a wide range of lenses with controllable iris, focus, and zoom. This model stands out for its advanced connectivity: it integrates 12G-SDI inputs and outputs for program return complete with camera control, tally, and talkback, as well as an HDMI output with control functions. It also features professional XLR mic/line audio inputs with phantom power, ensuring broadcast-grade sound quality. Another strong point is the 10G Ethernet port, which carries all signals—video, return, time code, tally, talkback, and control—through a single cable, enabling a much more cost-effective and practical SMPTE-style workflow. Completing the package is a high-brightness 7" HDR LCD display, ensuring clear viewing even in difficult lighting conditions, and the ability to record directly to USB-C disks in Blackmagic RAW.
