Micro bidirectional SDI/HDMI 3G converter - Blackmagic Design BLM-CONVBDC/SDI/HDMI

The Blackmagic Design BLM-CONVBDC/SDI/HDMI converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SD in any combination of SD and HD formats up to 1080p 60. The two conversion directions operate independently, so different SD or HD video standards can be used at the same time.

Its 3G-SDI input and output connections support multi-rate operation, allowing professional broadcast equipment, including Level A and Level B devices, to be used with the converter. It automatically detects all SD, HD and 3G-SDI formats, is powered over USB, and can also use an optional AC power supply.

Bidirectional signal conversion supports Blackmagic Camera Control and Tally. The HDMI input cannot capture from copy-protected HDMI sources, so copyright ownership must always be confirmed before capturing or distributing content. Settings are controlled through the MacOS and Windows software utility connected by USB, and internal software upgrades are performed over USB. Supported operating systems are Mac 10.15 Catalina, Mac 11.1 Big Sur or later, and Windows 10, 64-bit.
