Description

The Mini Converter Analog to SDI is a compact device designed to convert analog video signals to SDI with embedded audio, offering a versatile, high-quality solution for those connecting analog equipment to professional digital systems. This converter can handle NTSC, PAL, S-Video, and SD / HD component analog video inputs, integrating audio from balanced analog or AES/EBU digital inputs. It is designed to make devices such as Betacam SP, VHS, set-top boxes, game consoles, and HDV camcorders compatible with modern SDI-based workflows, ensuring stable and professional output. It supports two simultaneous SDI outputs and automatically detects SD and HD formats, with multirate compatibility and reclocking to maintain signal quality. The converter operates with 4:2:2 video sampling and 48 kHz, 24-bit audio. Color is managed in the YUV space with 4:2:2 precision, ensuring color fidelity and stability. Configuration and updates are done via high-speed USB 2.0, with software available for Mac and Windows. Operationally, the Mini Converter Analog to SDI runs on a universal 12 V power supply and includes international adapters, consuming approximately 6.5 W.
