The Blackmagic Design BLM-CONVMCAUDS2 is a compact converter for embedding audio signals into an SDI source, supporting SD and HD formats up to 1080p 60. Audio is accepted through four balanced analogue channels or eight balanced AES/EBU channels, with 1/4" connectors for mixers, analogue decks and other professional equipment.
Automatic handling of SD, HD and 3G-SDI standards is combined with a redundant SDI input that takes over if the main input is lost. It integrates audio and video in broadcast and post-production workflows without requiring Ultra HD models, with control through mini-switches or USB software. A universal +12 V power supply with international adapters is included.
