Description

The Blackmagic Design BLM-CONVBDC/SDI/HDM2 is a bidirectional 12G SDI/HDMI converter supporting up to 2160p 60. It converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI across all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p 60, while each conversion direction can use a different SD, HD or Ultra HD video standard at the same time. In practical terms, it combines two independent converters in one unit.

Its durable pocket-sized metal design is suited to live production and broadcast work. The compact enclosure can be hidden from view when required, and power can be supplied from any USB-C outlet. Bidirectional conversion supports Blackmagic Camera Control and Tally. Settings are managed through the MacOS and Windows software utility connected by USB, and the internal software can be upgraded over USB.

The HDMI input cannot capture from copy-protected HDMI sources; copyright ownership must always be confirmed before capturing or distributing content. Supported operating systems are Mac 10.15 Catalina, Mac 11.1 Big Sur or later, and Windows 10, 64-bit.
