Blackmagic Design Streaming Encoder (also known as Web Presenter HD) is a streaming processor designed to transmit HD video using the H.264 compression standard via the SRT and RTMP protocols, allowing you to broadcast live to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and X or to the Blackmagic Cloud. Thanks to its 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet connection, it can transmit directly to the Internet, while the compatibility with 4G or 5G mobile networks means you can use a smartphone data connection for streaming if your Internet connection drops. You can even choose whether to give priority to the Ethernet connection or the phone connection. It includes a 12G-SDI reference input, which supports automatic conversion of video standards, and a USB-C webcam port, which allows it to be used with video conferencing and streaming software. It also has an HDMI monitoring output, which allows you to view the video stream in real time and supports 16 channels of embedded audio over SDI and 2 channels over HDMI. The front control panel includes six buttons, a dial, and a 2.2" LCD display that lets you monitor video, audio, and streaming status.
