Active HDMI fibre optic cable 6 m black 4K - CELEXON CEL-1000004840

The Celexon CEL-1000004840 is a 6 m active HDMI-to-HDMI cable with an internal converter that changes the electrical signal into an optical signal and converts it back at the receiver. Its fibre optic construction is intended for long signal paths and provides 100% reliable data transmission, with no sensitivity to external interference caused by radio or magnetic fields. Light pulses travel through the fibre and are then restored as an HDMI electrical signal.

The cable has the dimensions of a standard HDMI cable, with a larger connector because the conversion technology is fully integrated into the plugs. It supports resolutions up to 4K-UHD, equivalent to 4x Full HD resolution, at a 60 Hz refresh rate, 8-bit 4:4:4 colour subsampling, bandwidth up to 18.2 Gbps and maximum colour depth of 16 bit. The 24k gold-plated HDMI connector helps prevent oxidation of the plug contacts and supports optimal transmission; the high-quality plug also provides a precise contact fit and helps prevent wobbling or disconnection from the HDMI interface.
