Active HDMI fibre optic cable 4K HDMI 2.0b - CELEXON CEL-1000004844

The celexon active HDMI 2.0b fibre optic cable is designed to maintain 100% reliable data transmission over long signal paths. A converter integrated into the cable plug changes the source's electrical HDMI signal into light pulses; the fibre carries them to the receiver, where they are converted back into an electrical HDMI signal.

Optical transmission prevents external interference caused by radio or magnetic fields from affecting the signal. The cable retains the dimensions of a standard HDMI cable, while its plugs are larger because the complete conversion technology is built into them. It supports image resolutions up to 4K-UHD, equal to 4 times Full HD resolution, at 60 Hz, with 8-bit 4:4:4 colour subsampling, bandwidth up to 18.2 Gbps and a maximum colour depth of 16 bit. The 24k gold-plated HDMI connector helps prevent oxidation of the plug contacts and supports optimal transmission. The high-quality plug also provides a precise contact fit, preventing wobbling or disconnection from the HDMI interface.
