Active HDMI optical fibre cable 50 m black 4K - CELEXON CEL-1000004846

The 50 m celexon active HDMI 2.0b cable uses fibre optics to carry the signal over long paths. Its internal converter changes the electrical signal into an optical signal; light pulses travel through the fibre to the receiver and are converted back into an electrical HDMI signal. This technology prevents radio or magnetic fields from affecting transmission.

The cable keeps the dimensions of a standard HDMI cable, with a larger connector because the converter is fully integrated into the plug. It supports resolutions up to 4K-UHD, equal to 4 times Full HD, at 60 Hz, with 8-bit 4:4:4 colour subsampling, bandwidth up to 18.2 Gbps and a maximum colour depth of 16 bit. The 24k gold-plated HDMI connector protects the contacts against oxidation, while the quality plug ensures a stable fit and prevents wobbling or disconnection from the HDMI interface.
