HDMI 2.0 cable with Ethernet Professional - CELEXON CEL-1000015523

The celexon HDMI cable with Ethernet complies with HDMI 2.0 and transmits signals at up to 18 Gbps. It supports resolutions up to 4K, namely 4096x2160p at 60 Hz with 8-bit colour depth, as well as 4K HDR with 10-bit colour depth. HDR, or High Dynamic Range, expands the displayed dynamic and colour range, producing a brighter and more detailed picture.

Under the official HDMI specifications, the maximum 18 Gbps bandwidth is specified for cable lengths up to 5 m. In celexon tests, a direct connection between transmitter and receiver achieved the full 18 Gbps bandwidth even with 7.5 m and 10 m cables. For a secure full-bandwidth connection when transmitting 4K HDR images with 10-bit colour depth, 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 hertz and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, celexon recommends active or optical HDMI cables from 7.5 m.

The additional Ethernet channel connects Internet-capable AV components to the home network through a single HDMI cable. An AV receiver or Blu-Ray player can therefore receive both the video signal and the network connection through HDMI, provided that the television is connected to the network by cable. This arrangement removes the need for a network switch and additional cables.

The conductors are made from high-purity copper and the cable has 3-fold shielding. Gold-plated contacts support reliable transmission and high corrosion resistance. The Professional Line combines reliable technical functionality, careful workmanship and an elegant design for business, private or leisure use, including office, home office, entertainment and professional applications.

The connection is HDMI-A male to HDMI-A male. The standard is High Speed HDMI with Ethernet, HDMI 2.0 compliant, and the transmission rate is 18 Gbps. Maximum resolution is 4K / Ultra HD / 4096x2160p at 60 Hz, 8 Bit, 4:4:4, or HDR at 10 Bit. Supported colour spaces are 16/24 bit RGB/YUV, Deep Color and x.v.Color™. Supported audio standards are ARC, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio™, DVD Audio and SA-CD. Other functions include HEC (HDMI Ethernet Channel), CEC (Consumer Electronic Control), 3D, HDCP and EDID.

The connector has gold-plated contacts, a chrome-plated aluminium housing and flexible bend protection. The PVC sheath has a diameter of 7.3 mm. The cable is black, round and 0.5 m long. The stated weight is 0.055 kg, while the net product weight is 0.05 kg; product dimensions are 1.4 cm in height, 2.3 cm in width and 50 cm in depth. It has 1 HDMI input and 1 HDMI output. The product condition is new, and it is REACH and RoHs compliant.
