HDMI cable with Ethernet 4K HDR Professional Line - CELEXON CEL-1000015529

The celexon CEL-1000015529 is an HDMI-A male to HDMI-A male cable with Ethernet, compliant with HDMI 2.0 and the High Speed HDMI with Ethernet standard. It transmits up to 18 Gbps and supports resolutions up to 4K, including 4096x2160p at 60 Hz with 8-bit colour depth, plus 4K HDR with 10-bit colour depth. HDR (High Dynamic Range) displays a wider dynamic and colour range, making the picture brighter and more detailed.

Official HDMI specifications state bandwidth up to 18 Gbps with cable lengths of up to 5 m. In celexon's tests, a direct transmitter-to-receiver connection delivered the complete 18 Gbps bandwidth even with 7.5 m and 10 m cables. When the full bandwidth is required for 4K HDR images with 10-bit colour depth, at 3840 x 2160 pixels, 60 hertz and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, celexon recommends active or optical HDMI cables from 7.5 m upwards.

The Ethernet channel connects Internet-capable AV components to a home network through the HDMI cable alone. The television only needs to be connected to the network by cable; the AV receiver or Blu-Ray player can then receive the network connection through HDMI alongside the video signal. A network switch and extra cables are therefore unnecessary. The Professional Line combines technically reliable operation, careful construction and elegant design for office, home-office, entertainment and professional applications.

The cable has triple shielding and gold-plated contacts, supporting dependable transmission and high corrosion resistance. Supported colour spaces are 16/24-bit RGB/YUV, Deep Color and x.v.Color™. Audio standards include ARC, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio™, DVD Audio and SA-CD. HEC (HDMI Ethernet Channel), CEC (Consumer Electronic Control), 3D, HDCP and EDID are also supported.

The connector combines gold-plated contacts, a chrome-plated aluminium housing and flexible bend protection. The cable uses high-purity copper conductors, 3-layer shielding and a PVC sheath with a 7.3 mm diameter. It is round, black and 7.5 m long; the stated product diameter is 8.2 mm. The product is REACH and RoHs compliant, weighs 0.607 kg and has a net weight of 0.591 kg. Its dimensions are 1.4 cm high, 2.3 cm wide and 750 cm deep. It has 1 HDMI input and 1 HDMI output.
