The celexon Professional Line HDMI cable, compatible with HDMI 2.0, transmits signals up to 18 Gbps and supports resolutions up to 4K, with 4096 x 2160p at 60 Hz and 8-bit colour depth, as well as 4K HDR with 10-bit colour depth. HDR, or High Dynamic Range, makes a wider dynamic and colour range available, producing a brighter and more detailed picture. According to the official HDMI specifications, the maximum 18 Gbps bandwidth is specified for cable lengths up to 5 m. With a direct connection between transmitter and receiver, celexon has verified in its own tests that the full 18 Gbps bandwidth can also be transmitted over 7.5 m and 10 m cables.

For a secure connection using the full bandwidth required by 4K HDR images with 10-bit colour depth, namely 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 hertz and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, celexon recommends active or optical HDMI cables from 7.5 m. The additional Ethernet channel connects Internet-capable AV components to the home network using a single HDMI cable. An AV receiver or Blu-Ray player can therefore receive the network connection through HDMI in addition to the actual video signal; the TV only needs to be connected to the network by cable. This arrangement removes the need for a network switch and additional cables.

Professional HDMI cables have three-layer shielding and gold-plated contacts, combining corrosion resistance with reliable transmission performance. The line combines reliable technical functionality with precise workmanship in a modern, elegant design, providing high performance for both professional and consumer use. The connection is HDMI-A male to HDMI-A male; the standard is High Speed HDMI with Ethernet, HDMI 2.0 compliant, and the transmission rate reaches 18 Gbps. Maximum resolution is 4K / Ultra HD / 4096 x 2160p at 60 Hz, 8 bit, 4:4:4 or HDR at 10 bit.

Supported colour spaces are 16/24-bit RGB/YUV, Deep Color and x.v.Color. Audio standards include ARC, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, DVD Audio and SA-CD. Other features are HEC, the HDMI Ethernet Channel, CEC, Consumer Electronic Control, 3D, HDCP and EDID. The connector has gold-plated contacts, a chrome-plated aluminium housing and flexible bend protection. The cable uses high-purity copper conductors, three-fold shielding and a PVC sheath with a diameter of 7.3 mm. It is black, round and 10 m long, and complies with REACH and RoHs.
