DisplayPort 1.2 4K MST cable - CELEXON CEL-1000015544

The CELEXON CEL-1000015544 DisplayPort cable complies with version 1.2 and transmits signals up to 21.6 Gbps at resolutions up to 4K (4096 x 2160p 60 with 10-bit colour depth). Thanks to 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, all brightness and image information is optimally transmitted.

Multi-stream transport (MST) mode lets you control multiple monitors via your PC’s DisplayPort interface. You can use daisy chain to switch multiple monitors on sequentially, or connect them through an additional DisplayPort MST hub. How many displays MST supports depends on each panel’s resolution; for example, you can connect four displays at Full HD (1920 x 1080p 60). In a daisy chain, every display except the last must include a DisplayPort receiver and transmitter to pass video streams to itself and to other chain members. Once a monitor pulls out its assigned video and audio stream, it forwards the remainder along the chain; each monitor in the chain must hold all required information.

The alternative MST setup uses an MST hub that splits the full bandwidth of a DisplayPort output and, for example, sends four independent Full HD signals at 60 Hz. MST hubs route those video signals (with audio) to connected monitors and also allow displays with different inputs. Professional Line DisplayPort cables are triple-shielded with gold-plated, corrosion-resistant contacts for reliable signal transmission. The celexon Professional Line series stands out for reliability, meticulous workmanship, and elegant design.
