Unidirectional DisplayPort to HDMI cable 4K 30Hz - CELEXON CEL-1000015553

The celexon DisplayPort to HDMI cable combines signal connection and adaptation in a single unit. It complies with DisplayPort version 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 and reaches a transfer rate of 10.2 Gbps. It supports resolutions up to 4K, including 4096 x 2160p at 30 Hz with 8-bit colour depth. 4:4:4 chroma subsampling retains all brightness and image information during transmission.

Transmission is unidirectional, taking the signal from DisplayPort source devices such as PCs and laptops to HDMI playback devices including displays and projectors. The combination of a DisplayPort connector and an HDMI-A connector means that the product works as both cable and adapter; a separate adapter is therefore unnecessary when a DisplayPort socket is connected to an HDMI-A socket.

MST, or Multi-Stream Transport, makes it possible to control multiple monitors through one DisplayPort connection on the PC. Two arrangements are available: a daisy-chain connection or an additional DisplayPort MST hub. The number of displays depends on each display’s resolution; with Full HD, namely 1920 x 1080p at 60 Hz, 4 displays can be connected.

For daisy-chained monitors, every unit apart from the last must contain a DisplayPort receiver and transmitter. This allows it to receive the video stream intended for itself and the other components, extract the assigned video and audio streams, and forward the remaining data along the chain. Each monitor in the chain must have all required information. With the alternative method, the MST hub divides the complete bandwidth of the DisplayPort output and can, for example, send 4 independent Full HD signals at 60 Hz. The hubs distribute these video signals with sound to the connected monitors and also make it possible to use displays with different inputs.

Professional Line DisplayPort cables use triple shielding, while their gold-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and reliable transmission. The celexon Professional Line combines technically dependable operation, precise workmanship and elegant design for office, home office, entertainment and professional use.
