The celexon DVI Dual Link Professional Line cable connects one DVI-D (24+1) plug to another DVI-D (24+1) plug and transmits signals up to 2K / WQXGA, namely 2560x1600p at 60 Hz with 10-bit colour depth. 4:4:4 chroma subsampling keeps the brightness and image information complete. The transfer rate is 9.9 Gbps. Supported colour spaces are 16/24-bit RGB/YUV, Deep Color and x.v.Color™, with HDCP and EDID available as additional features.

The increased resolution is achieved through the DVI Dual Link system, while DVI Single Link supports only resolutions up to Full HD, or 1920 x 1080p at 60 Hz. Video data is carried by TMDS over 4 data lines. Dual Link distributes the video data across 2 TMDS transmitters, doubling the clock frequency to 330 MHz and allowing signals up to 2560x1600p to be transmitted at 60 Hertz. Two screws on the connectors allow the plugs to be attached securely and firmly to the device sockets, preventing unintentional disconnection.

The Professional Line cable has triple shielding and gold-plated contacts, providing high corrosion resistance and reliable signal transmission. The connectors feature gold-plated contacts, a chrome-plated aluminium housing and flexible bend protection. The cable uses high-purity copper conductors, a PVC sheath and a round construction. The stated diameter is 6.5 mm; the cable is black and measures 5.0 m in length. It is REACH and RoHs compliant.
