HDMI 2.1 optical fibre UHD 8K/4K 48Gbps directional cable - CELEXON CEL-1000017828

The CELEXON UHD optical fibre HDMI cable meets HDMI 2.1 and carries signals at up to 48 Gbps with resolutions up to 8K (7680x4320p @ 60 Hz with up to 12 bit colour depth) and 4K (4096x2160p @ 120 Hz with up to 12 bit colour depth). A hybrid design with 4 glass fibres and 8 copper wires supports high data rates with interference-free transmission even over very long runs.

Inside the Source connector the electrical signal becomes light pulses on the glass fibres; the Display connector converts them back to electrical form, so the cable direction must be observed during installation. At 5.5 mm diameter, a maximum bending radius of 30 mm and 10 circuits along the full length, the assembly stays flexible for routing. The slim, narrow connector plugs into tight spaces without masking neighbouring ports.

Dynamic HDR (High Dynamic Range) processes such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+ widen dynamic and colour range while per-frame optimisation makes fast transitions between strong contrasts (for example white to black) look more natural.* Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), part of HDMI 2.1, carries up to 32 audio channels with uncompressed 24-bit/192 kHz streams at up to 38 Mbps, passing formats including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X without compression.*

Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM) targets gaming by cutting delay through removal of advanced video processing for the fastest display response. Besides an ALLM-enabled TV, source devices must deliver high-quality video the screen can play immediately, so controller input and on-screen reaction stay aligned. ALLM-capable devices can handshake into the lowest-latency mode automatically, even through an interconnected AV receiver without extra settings.* Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) synchronises refresh between source and display; the rate can move from 30 to 144 Hz to keep images sharp and reduce tearing in gaming.* A supplementary Ethernet channel links internet-capable AV components to the home network using a single HDMI cable.
