The celexon UHD optical fibre HDMI cable complies with the HDMI 2.1 specification and transmits signals at up to 48 Gbps. It supports resolutions up to 8K, namely 7680x4320p at 60 Hz with up to 12-bit colour depth, and up to 4K, namely 4096x2160p at 120 Hz with up to 12-bit colour depth. The hybrid construction combines 4 glass fibres and 8 copper wires, enabling optimal, interference-free transmission of high data rates even over very long distances. The electrical signal in the source connector is converted into light pulses, carried through the optical fibres to the display connector and converted back into an electrical signal. The cable must therefore be installed in the correct direction.

The cable has a diameter of only 5.5 mm, a maximum bending radius of 30 mm and 10 circuits running along its entire length, giving it a high degree of flexibility during installation. Its very thin, narrow connector can be used in hard-to-reach places and does not cover nearby ports after connection.

Dynamic HDR, or High Dynamic Range, including processes such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+, allows a wider colour and dynamic range to be displayed, producing a more brilliant and detailed picture. Picture optimisation is adapted to each individual image, making rapid colour changes between high contrasts more natural, such as a change from white to black.

Enhanced Audio Return Channel, or eARC, is the new generation of ARC included in the HDMI 2.1 specification. It can transmit up to 32 audio channels with uncompressed 24-bit/192 kHz data streams at up to 38 Mbps. The increased bandwidth and speed allow formats including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to be transmitted without compression.

Automatic Low Latency Mode, or ALLM, removes advanced video processing to reduce delays and provide the display with a fast response, making it particularly useful for gaming. To use this function, the monitor or TV must support ALLM and the source devices must provide a high-quality video signal that the display can reproduce immediately. This avoids a perceptible delay between pressing the controller and the reaction in the picture, supporting a more direct and precise gaming experience. Through the handshake process, all connected ALLM-capable devices automatically select the mode with the shortest possible latency; no additional settings are required even when an AV receiver is connected.

Variable Refresh Rate, or VRR, synchronises the refresh rate of the source device with that of the output device, reducing jerkiness and tearing. The refresh rate can vary from 30 to 144 Hz to maintain sharp images and avoid screen tearing, including during gaming. An additional Ethernet channel also allows internet-compatible AV components to be connected to the home network using a single HDMI cable.
