HDMI 2.1 optical fibre UHD 8K/4K 48Gbps directional cable - CELEXON CEL-1000017832

The CELEXON UHD optical fibre HDMI cable complies with HDMI 2.1 and delivers up to 48 Gbps with resolutions up to 8K (7680x4320p @ 60 Hz with up to 12 bit colour depth) and 4K (4096x2160p @ 120 Hz with up to 12 bit colour depth). Its hybrid fibre layout—4 glass fibres and 8 copper wires—keeps high bitrates clean even across long links.

Electrical energy at the Source connector becomes light on the fibres and is restored to electrical at the Display end, so installers must orient the cable correctly. Measuring 5.5 mm across, allowing up to 30 mm bend radius and carrying 10 circuits along the full run, it remains pliable for pulls and bends. The narrow connector reaches awkward ports without blocking adjacent sockets.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) support, including Dolby Vision and HDR10+, broadens colour and dynamic range while picture tuning adjusts per frame so abrupt shifts between strong contrasts (such as white to black) appear more natural.* eARC, the HDMI 2.1 evolution of ARC, moves up to 32 channels of uncompressed 24-bit/192 kHz audio at up to 38 Mbps, covering Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X without compression.*

ALLM (Automatic Low Latency Mode) appeals to gamers by stripping advanced video processing to minimise lag. Requirements include an ALLM-ready display and sources that output high-grade video the panel can render immediately, limiting perceived gap between controller action and on-screen response. Compatible gear can auto-negotiate the shortest latency path, including setups with an AV receiver in line and no manual toggles.* VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) locks source and display refresh together, spanning 30 to 144 Hz for crisp motion and less tearing during play.* The added Ethernet channel joins internet-ready AV hardware to the home LAN through one HDMI lead.
