HDMI optical fibre cable UHD HDMI 2.1 48Gbps 8K - CELEXON CEL-1000017836

The CELEXON UHD optical-fibre HDMI cable meets the HDMI 2.1 specification and carries signals at up to 48 Gbps, with picture formats up to 8K (7680x4320p at 60 Hz and up to 12-bit colour depth) and up to 4K (4096x2160p at 120 Hz with up to 12-bit colour depth). A hybrid design with four glass fibres and eight copper conductors keeps high data rates clean even across very long runs.

At the Source connector the electrical signal becomes light pulses that travel through the glass fibres to the Display connector, where conversion back to electrical takes place, so the cable must be installed in the correct direction. Measuring 5.5 mm in diameter, with a maximum bend radius of 30 mm and ten circuits along the full length, it remains flexible for routing. The slim connector profile plugs into tight spaces without blocking adjacent ports or interfaces.

Dynamic HDR (High Dynamic Range), including Dolby Vision and HDR10+, widens dynamic and colour range while tuning optimisation frame by frame, so abrupt shifts between strong contrasts (for example white to black) look more natural.* Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), the HDMI 2.1 evolution of ARC, moves up to 32 channels of uncompressed 24-bit/192 kHz audio at up to 38 Mbps, supporting formats such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X without compression.*

Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM) cuts delay by bypassing advanced video processing for the fastest display response. Besides an ALLM-capable TV, source devices must deliver high-quality video the screen can show immediately, so controller input and on-screen reaction stay closely aligned for a more direct gaming feel. ALLM-capable gear can auto-switch via handshake, including through a linked AV receiver, without extra setup.* Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) synchronises source and display refresh between 30 and 144 Hz for sharper motion and less tearing in games.* A supplementary Ethernet channel lets internet-ready AV components join the home network on a single HDMI lead.
