4K HDMI scaler with dual outputs, HDR support, HDCP conversion, EDID tools, test patterns and OSD/RS‑232 control

Description

The SY-12H-4K22 is an HDMI scaler designed to convert 1080p signals to 4K UHD or downscale from 4K UHD to 1080p, while maintaining digital audio synchronization. The OSD interface allows immediate control of functions directly through the HDMI outputs, simplifying in-field setup. The input signal can be sent simultaneously to both HDMI outputs, even at different resolutions, or it can be replaced with an internally generated test pattern for quick display checks. The device integrates full EDID and HDCP management, as well as event automation functions via RS-232 or CEC, making it suitable for installations requiring compatibility and advanced control. Control is via front panel controls (with on-screen OSD) or via RS-232. Main features HDMI input and output with 18 Gbps 600 MHz support for 4K UHD with HDR DVI 1.0 compatible via HDMI-DVI adapter HDCP 2.2 compatible 1 × HDMI input and 2 × HDMI outputs Supports HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 conversion HDMI signal bypass on both outputs or upscaling of 1080p signals to 4K on output B and downscaling of 4K signals to 1080p on output A Resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 @ 60Hz 4:4:4 8-bit 4K HDR at 24/30 Hz YUV 4:4:4 and 50/60 Hz YUV 4:2:0 with color depth up to 12-bit Deep Color at up to 16-bit at 1080p @ 60 Hz Supports LPCM 2.0/5.1/7.1 Bitstream and HD Bitstream audio formats pass-through Color space conversion for 4K sources @ 50/60 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit or 4K @ any 10/12-bit Integrated EDID and HDCP management Basic event automation via RS-232 or CEC Generation of test patterns at selected resolutions for display verification Front-panel controls with OSD display on the connected display and control via RS-232 User benefits Immediate upscaling and downscaling management in mixed 1080p and 4K installations Reduces compatibility issues with integrated HDCP conversion Quick display verification with internally generated test patterns Easy control via OSD and RS-232 even in complex installations Distribution simultaneous signal transfer with different resolutions to the two outputs Areas of use Professional and residential AV installations Corporate (meeting rooms, etc.) Showrooms and retail spaces with 4K displays Broadcast and post-production studios Presentation and video conferencing systems AV integrations requiring advanced EDID and HDCP management
