HDMI 4K ARC EDID audio embedder/de-embedder - CYP AU-11PRO

The CYP AU-11PRO is a 4K HDMI audio embedder/de-embedder with ARC support, designed to extract or insert audio in HDMI, optical or analogue signals. It can take audio from HDMI, ARC from HDMI output 1, optical S/PDIF or the analogue stereo input, then send it simultaneously to the HDMI, optical and analogue outputs using high-quality ADC/DAC processing.

The unit handles video up to 4K at 60 Hz 4:4:4, 18 Gbps, 10/12-bit HDR and audio formats including up to 8-channel LPCM, Bitstream and HD Bitstream. The audio extraction source can be selected freely. The optical output is limited to LPCM 2.0 and standard Bitstream, while the analogue output is limited to LPCM 2.0. EDID management provides bypass mode, two preconfigured EDIDs and one user-customisable EDID. The unit can be controlled using the front-panel switches and the Virtual COM port via USB-C.

The two duplicated HDMI outputs can connect two displays simultaneously, or one display and a video projector. The unit is suitable for conference rooms and meeting rooms with complex audio/video routing, professional AV installations requiring advanced HDMI signal management, Home Theater systems, soundbar, amplifier or active speaker integration with 4K sources, Digital Signage applications with separate audio and video distribution, and setups requiring HDMI duplication across two displays. EDID management improves compatibility with matrix switchers, including situations where the display does not support the audio format in use.
