De-embedder audio HDMI 4K optical repeater RCA - CYP AU-11CD-4K22

The CYP AU-11CD-4K22 is a 4K HDMI audio de-embedder with an integrated repeater. It extracts digital or analogue audio from an HDMI signal while retaining full compatibility with 4K 60 4:4:4 video, HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2. Installed between the source and display, it lets the user select the required audio format and route it through the optical S/PDIF output or the stereo RCA outputs without changing the UHD video stream. Its internal HDMI repeater adds up to 5 m to the transmission distance at 4K 60.

The unit is HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 and DVI compliant, and handles resolutions up to 4K x 2K at 60 Hz with YUV 4:4:4. High-resolution audio formats supported for bypass include LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio. HDMI audio sampling reaches 192 kHz, while optical S/PDIF audio sampling also reaches 192 kHz. HDMI-to-optical and HDMI-to-analogue-stereo de-embedding are supported, together with HBR (High Bit Rate) audio. HDMI-to-DVI conversion is possible through an adapter. Audio outputs are stereo L/R and optical S/PDIF.

The device is fully compatible with UHD 4K60 sources and HDCP 2.2-protected content, and handles the main home-theatre audio formats, including high-resolution formats. The built-in repeater increases signal distance, while the compact, rugged metal construction makes integration into installations straightforward. Typical applications include conference and meeting rooms, professional AV systems using HDMI matrices and switchers, home theatre and digital signage with separate audio/video routing. It can also feed audio to external mixers, amplifiers or DSPs wherever the installation requires it.

Connections include 1 HDMI input port, 1 HDMI output port and 1 USB Mini-B control I/O. The power requirement is 5 V DC / 2.6 A, with a power consumption of 3.91 W. The chassis is black metal.
