The XA-3P is the ideal partner for quickly verifying and diagnosing all elements of an HDMI signal path, including the source, cable, and display.
Testing the integrity of an HDMI cable is essential for any AV installer, especially with the increasing demands of 4K and HDR content. Cable Testing mode allows you to verify whether an HDMI cable can fully support signals up to 18 Gbps, with results displayed on the built-in LCD or an external monitor.
Compatible with HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 1.4/2.2, the device integrates numerous analysis functions: cable testing up to 18 Gbps, pattern generator with 23 resolutions and 11 selectable patterns, EDID management with presets and user slots, SCDC monitoring, and HDMI packet analysis. Analyzer mode also includes a scaler that allows downscaling from 4K UHD to 1080p. The front controls are simple to use, and the HDMI connections are easily accessible on the top of the unit.
The XA-3P is battery-powered for maximum portability in demanding installations; the battery can be recharged or powered via the USB port.
Ultimately, it's an indispensable tool for installers, technicians, and integrators who need to quickly verify HDMI signal quality and compatibility in the field.
