RE-EDID-4K22 is designed to manage the HDMI/DVI EDID information supplied to an HDMI source device from a connected display.
The EDID contains critical information about the capabilities of the connected display, including audio and video format support, HDMI feature support, and more. This product aims to simplify the technical complications that often arise during video system integration, home theater installation, commercial display integration, or audio / video equipment testing. It also supports EDID emulation and bypass modes.
Main features
HDMI input and output with 4K UHD support at 18 Gbps (6G)
Compliant with HDCP 1.4 and 2.2
Supports HD resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 @ 60 Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit) and 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit)

Four different EDID modes: read / write / emulate / bypass
Read mode: reads the EDID information from the TV/monitor
Write mode: overwrites the EDID information from the TV/monitor (the TV/monitor must support the overwrite function)
Ability to store 8 sets of unique EDID settings via the learning procedure
Emulator mode: allows the source device to read selected EDID information from the EDID memory default or learned by the unit
Bypass mode: allows the source device to read EDID information directly from the TV/monitor
