The Fujinon UA13x4.5 is a wide-angle zoom lens delivering resolution beyond 4K, high contrast and HDR capability. Its 4.5 mm focal length supports ultra-wide-angle shooting. The floating focus system adjusts multiple lens groups according to distance, preserving high-resolution images throughout the zoom range. It also limits the distortion associated with ultra-wide-angle focal lengths and the loss of definition in peripheral areas.

Fluorite ED and Super ED elements, both offering extra-low dispersion, reduce chromatic aberration and produce clear, sharp images. Special lens-surface coatings rigorously suppress reflections, make full use of the extended dynamic range provided by HDR cameras and reproduce faithful blacks for video rendering. The B4 bayonet mount is intended for broadcast cameras with a 2/3" sensor, while the 16-bit encoder is designed for a virtual system.

The multi-group zoom structure suppresses spherical aberrations from wide angle through telephoto. A high-precision, large-aperture aspherical element maintains high MTF to the edges, and lens-surface processing precision is more than three times higher than HD. The HT-EBC anti-reflection coating keeps reflection at 0.2% or less across a wide wavelength range, reducing lens-surface reflection and producing truer blacks. The optimised internal lens-barrel shape and surface treatment help suppress ghosting and flare. A 9-blade diaphragm produces natural bokeh. Applications include TV and broadcast productions, film and documentary productions, sports shooting from the sidelines or close to the action, and wide scenarios.
