LEM Commercial AVCore 16.8ae combines a high-performance audio DSP, 4K video switching, USB‑C AV capture and centralised room management in one compact standard 19" rack-mount unit. The platform acts as an automated audio/video control centre, coordinating shots, priorities, presets and transitions in sync with the speaker, together with conference automix. It includes seamless 4 x 1 + 1 HDMI switching, a USB 3.0 hub, USB Type‑C AV capture and DSP functions comprising HP/LP filters, EQ, AGC, compressors, feedback suppressors, limiters, delays and multi-level automix.

The configuration provides 33 input channels: 16 AES67 channels, 16 analogue channels and 1 USB soundcard channel. It provides 25 output channels: 16 AES67 channels, 8 analogue channels and 1 USB soundcard channel. AVCore 16.8ae manages complex conference rooms with microphones, loudspeakers, UC systems and AV devices. Programmable presets automatically frame the speaker, change cameras according to audio automix priority, activate Picture-in-Picture when two people speak simultaneously, and manage video control independently for local monitors and remote participants on Zoom, Teams and similar platforms. Audio automix and video switching operate together so the shot follows the active speaker.

The Windows-based DSP Controller software provides routing, DSP module editing, RS‑232/RS‑485 management, presets, custom panels and advanced security. The 16 preset slots store complex configurations for instant recall. The custom UI allows integrators to create tailored interfaces for technicians and end users, with access restricted to authorised functions. The system also combines a professional audio processor and an HDMI matrix, supports up to 16 analogue audio inputs and 8 analogue audio outputs, and supports up to 16 AES67 digital audio inputs and 16 AES67 digital audio outputs. It includes Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), Feedback Suppression and Auto-mixer to remove echo, noise and feedback in multi-participant interactions. The seamless HDMI matrix handles different video signal types and enables smooth switching between multiple sources.
