Passive IP56 PA loudspeaker 15'' 400W long throw - LEM COMMERCIAL GEN-BORA15-CX

LEM Commercial BORA15-CX is a long-throw passive PA loudspeaker equipped with a 15" ferrite woofer and a 1.4" coaxial horn-loaded tweeter. Its design is intended to maintain high performance in all weather conditions, combining an extended frequency response with clear intelligibility for music and speech. The loudspeaker complies with IP56, handles 400 WRMS into 8 ohms and can also operate on 100 V lines through its integrated transformer.

The cabinet contains an internal sound-absorbing layer and is made from injection-moulded polymer compound with a textured, scratch-resistant finish. Exposed metal components use stainless steel or aluminium, while the overall construction is intended to withstand dust, water, wind and UV rays. The mounting bracket, fitted with rubber grommets, is made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and painted white; this feature distinguishes the BORA15-CX from competing products. At the rear, the wiring harness has a gasket and stainless steel screws and is fully sealed by a cable gland. A multilayer front grille shields the loudspeaker from bad weather, uses stainless steel screws and incorporates rear protection made from foam and acoustically transparent fabric. A safety harness in the form of a cable, together with stainless steel screws, is supplied for secure installation.

The coaxial point sound source consists of 1 × 15" (385 mm) woofer with a 3" voice coil and 1 × 1.4" (36 mm) coaxial tweeter with a 3" voice coil. Frequency response is 50 Hz–18 kHz (-10 dB); input voltage is 100 V. Rated power can be set to 75 W, 150 W, 300 W or OFF, while the 8-ohm setting provides 400 W. Sensitivity is 103 dB/W/m, maximum SPL is 129 dB continuous and 135 dB peak, and nominal impedance is 8 ohms. Dispersion is 60° × 40° (-6 dB) H × V, with a 1.5 kHz passive crossover. Dimensions W × H × D are 49.8 × 50.1 × 59.6 cm and weight is 31 kg.

BORA15-CX is suitable for restaurants and outdoor venues, bars, theme parks, squares and stadiums, as well as sound reinforcement in scenic areas, transport hubs and seaside resorts.
