Passive 6.5" coaxial PA loudspeaker IP56 100W 100V/8Ω - LEM COMMERCIAL GEN-BORA6-CX

LEM Commercial BORA6-CX is a compact passive PA loudspeaker with a 6.5" ferrite mid-woofer and a 0.8" coaxial tweeter. It is designed to deliver high performance in all weather conditions, with an extended frequency response and clear intelligibility for both music and speech. The IP56 rating supports outdoor use; the loudspeaker handles 100 WRMS into 8 ohms and also operates on 100 V lines through its integrated transformer.

An internal sound-absorbing layer is fitted inside the cabinet, which is made from injection-moulded polymer compound with a textured scratch-resistant finish. Exposed metal parts are stainless steel or aluminium, and the construction is intended to withstand dust, water, wind and UV rays. The mounting bracket uses rubber grommets, is made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and is painted white, a feature that distinguishes the BORA6-CX from competing products. The rear wiring harness includes a gasket and stainless steel screws and is completely sealed with a cable gland. The multilayer front grille protects the loudspeaker from bad weather, uses screws in the same material and includes rear protection made from foam and acoustically transparent fabric. A safety harness, in cable form, and stainless steel screws are supplied for secure installation.

When paired with the BORA15-EB subwoofer, the BORA6-CX adds deep bass and enhances the overall performance. Its coaxial point sound source uses 1 × 6.5" (165 mm) woofer with a 1.4" voice coil and 1 × 0.8" (20 mm) coaxial tweeter with a 1" voice coil. Frequency response is 100 Hz–18 kHz (-10 dB); input voltage is 100 V. Rated power settings are 25 W, 50 W, 100 W and OFF, while the 8-ohm setting provides 100 W. Sensitivity is 93 dB/W/m, maximum SPL is 113 dB continuous and 119 dB peak, and nominal impedance is 8 ohms. Dispersion measures 100° × 100° (-6 dB) H × V, with a 2.8 kHz passive crossover. Dimensions W × H × D are 25.6 × 25.9 × 31.9 cm and weight is 7 kg.

BORA6-CX is suitable for restaurants and outdoor venues, bars and theme parks, as well as sound reinforcement in scenic areas, houseboats and seaside resorts.
