Digital matrix 12x12 8x8 analog + 4x4 remote - Audiophony PA HIT-H11393

Audiophony PA DZ-MATRIX is a 12 x 12 digital matrix with 8 x 8 analogue channels and 4 x 4 remote channels. It is controlled by software and can be expanded with 8 digital inputs/outputs; up to 16 matrices can be connected through the optional Dante card. The software assigns all inputs and outputs and processes the signal according to the system requirements.

The iOS- and Android-compatible app provides access to the essential settings from smartphones and tablets. Its network capabilities and Dante option make DZ-MATRIX suitable for installations in shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, museums and conference rooms, as well as locations where the number of inputs and broadcast zones requires precise parameterisation.

Rear panel: INPUT uses a Euroblock connector with 8 balanced analogue inputs, while OUTPUT uses a Euroblock connector with 8 balanced analogue outputs. LAN is an adaptive 10/100 M Ethernet port with DHCP. GPI controls the input, output and mute priority of all outputs on channels 1-8. The ON/OFF switch enables or disables the Ethernet port.

RD 9/10 and 11/12 ports connect remote-control accessories such as DZ-BOX22, DZ-CTL, DZ-CTL2OUT, DZ-EXPAND and DZ-MICDESK; they transmit and receive AES3 digital audio and control data. RELAY provides dry contacts whose ON/OFF status can be controlled individually from the SYSTEM menu, generally for use as switches for third-party electrical equipment. The specified limit is 24 VDC with a control current below 500 mA. The RS232 interface remotely controls DZ-MATRIX parameters, including preset changes and channel-gain changes.

The software manages all inputs and outputs and provides channel settings for input DSP, matrix, output DSP, priority, feedback suppressor, auto mix, presets, backup and stereo input or output linking. DSP CHANNEL controls the inputs with level, EQ, compression, filter and Phantom power adjustments.

DUCKER handles priority control, selecting the priority channels and the channels on which they act, with independent trigger thresholds for all outputs. MATRIX assigns inputs and outputs; channels 01 to 08 are Dante channels available only when the optional DZ-DANTE card is active. FBB controls feedback by selecting inputs and outputs and automatically adjusts the static or dynamic 24-point filter.

SAVE / LOAD / COPY manages backups in the matrix or on a computer, saves the matrix state with all settings as presets, imports and exports presets, and copies one channel’s settings to another. AUTO MIXER controls the gains of multiple microphones in real time, reducing feedback, noise and comb filtering from nearby microphones; it maintains constant system gain and performs crossfades without signal compression. SYSTEM provides access to the dry contacts, restores the matrix default settings, changes the matrix name and manages GPI 1 and 2.
