The Contest 40 W PAR LED flood light uses a Dynamic White source to adjust colour temperature between 2900 and 5800 K, delivering flexible lighting for varied scenic requirements. A 10° lens aperture produces a tight beam; optional 12° and 26° diffusion filters widen the spread when needed. At three metres it reaches 1730 lux, with outdoor-capable performance from IP66 protection and a sturdy RAL 9002 epoxy-painted cast aluminium enclosure. Convection cooling runs without fans for quiet, dependable long-term operation.

Control is available over DMX on 2 or 4 channels, or in standalone mode with Master/Slave or single options; you can define custom macros for Master/Slave or single operation. RDM parameterization uses the external VRDM-Control box, with RDM console compatibility for basic parameters (DMX address, DMX mode, version, etc.). Power and signal use hybrid IN and OUT cables with IP67 plugs. Universal 110–240 V 50/60 Hz supply eases integration into existing rigs. Supplied accessories include the VC-Start power cord, IP plugs, flow switch, and barndoor (flags).
