The MUSICCUBE X1 is a 320 W active subwoofer fitted with two 9" long-throw woofers. Four rechargeable batteries can be removed and replaced during a performance, maintaining operation when no mains power is available. This makes it possible to build a complete PA system powered entirely by batteries.

X1 delivers the same power and performance whether connected to the mains or running only on its batteries, avoiding the performance reduction often associated with disconnecting high-powered equipment from its power supply. It therefore provides powerful and dynamic sound in different settings. The acoustic design uses a dedicated airflow duct and the air movement generated by the symmetrical arrangement of the two sound chambers. This layout provides wide low-frequency dynamics and creates a sense of space beyond what might be expected from the compact cabinet. The response reaches down to 40 Hz, producing powerful bass wherever the subwoofer is used.

Two line-input channels and two simultaneous signal-output channels are provided. The output configuration can be set to high-pass filtered, low-pass filtered or extended-range operation, while the outputs may be selected independently or mixed together. A 0° or 180° phase switch helps correct low-frequency overlap between the main loudspeaker and the subwoofer.

The compact, lightweight format makes X1 easier to transport than conventional subwoofers. A carrying handle assists movement, and the included telescopic stand supports a quick and simple setup. The trolley base is optional and sold separately.

X1 is intended for live events with bands and live shows, outdoor parties without a power source, and DJs working where mains power is not available.
