Class-H power amplifier 2x850W/4Ω stereo/bridge - HPA MSC-HPAAM1700

The HPA AM-1700 power amplifier, with its 2 x 500 WRMS into 8 ohms and 2 x 850 WRMS into 4 ohms Class-H amplifier stages, is suitable for heavy duty use in installation applications. It can also be operated in mono bridged mode to deliver a massive 1700 WRMS into 8 ohms, meeting the requirements of the most demanding audio systems. With a damping factor of over 500, this 2-channel power amplifier provides exceptional control of the loudspeakers, essential for accurate and distortion-free sound reproduction. It features three input sensitivity settings (0.775, 1 and 2 V), allowing perfect adaptation to different audio source levels. Added to this is an input impedance of 20 kohms in balanced mode and 10 kohms in unbalanced mode, which offers great connection versatility. The HPA AM-1700 is in fact equipped with XLR inputs and speakON outputs, which facilitate safe and reliable connections with other professional audio equipment. The stereo and bridge modes, selectable via a switch, increase its flexibility to adapt to various configurations and applications. The amplifier incorporates electronic, thermal and electrical protection to ensure safe and continuous use, even in the most difficult conditions. The signal to noise ratio of 102 dB and a THD of only 0.1% at 1 kHz indicate excellent performance, with little or no background noise or distortion at high output levels. The frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz within just ±1.5 dB ensures fidelity across the entire audio frequency spectrum, from deep bass to crystal clear highs.
