The Mac Mah UHF 2000 M is a complete, dependable UHF wireless microphone system built to amplify two voices at the same time with no fuss. The kit provides two handheld microphones, each with an interchangeable dynamic cardioid capsule that is compatible with the well-known Shure SM58 and Beta 58, so the sound can be tailored to the user's taste. Its frequency response runs from 80 Hz to 16 kHz, comfortably covering the range of the human voice.

Microphones and receiver are paired over infrared (IR). True Diversity technology and a 16-bit digital encoder with Pilote ID technology deliver steady, interference-free reception, even where the airwaves are crowded. The dual-channel receiver has a balanced XLR output and an unbalanced 6.35 mm jack output, a front-panel volume control and calibrated output levels, all in a compact, low-power unit. An LCD display shows the frequency and the transmitter battery level.

Each wireless microphone runs on 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries (included), giving 6 to 10 hours of battery life and an operating range of up to 80 m, so performers can roam freely on stage or among the audience. A microphone laid down horizontally mutes itself automatically. Both the microphones and the receiver have a rugged aluminium body.
