HPA MPA480Z is a 480 W RMS PA receiver/mixer designed for Public Address applications and 100 V line installations. Its audio architecture can manage up to 6 separate zones at the same time, with ON/OFF switching for each zone. This makes it suitable for demanding fixed installations in shopping centres, schools and government facilities.

The unit provides 6 inputs: 4 MIC/line inputs with microphone priority and Phantom power on Euroblock, plus 2 RCA/jack line inputs for 6.35 mm connections. An USB/SD/Bluetooth interface, an FM radio receiver and an AUX input on a 3.5 mm mini-jack are also included, allowing portable audio devices and content from different media and platforms to be connected. A REC line output on RCA is provided for recording signals.

Sound management includes a 2-band tone control and a VU meter for precise monitoring of output levels. The receiver/mixer also features a siren function, internal message recording and message broadcasting via a micro SD card. These functions provide additional options for emergency announcements and scheduled notifications in public environments. An infrared remote control allows further operating convenience.

Total output power is 480 W RMS, while the main output supports 4 ohms, 70 V and 100 V. Frequency response ranges from 80 Hz to 17 kHz, with THD below 0.5% at 1 kHz. Maximum power consumption is 680 W and the power supply is 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Electronic, thermal and electrical protection is incorporated for reliable, continuous operation in difficult conditions. Dimensions are 420 x 88 x 320 mm, weight is 11.2 kg, and the supplied accessories include a 19-inch rack mounting kit.
