Wireless chairman microphone base with gooseneck microphone - HPA MSC-HPASC2288C

HPA SC-2288C combines a base microphone and a gooseneck microphone for the HPA SC-2288R wireless conference system. It acts as the main control unit in the system's UHF network and communicates by radio over the 610–659.75 MHz band. Operating range reaches approximately 60 m, or up to 60 m under normal conditions. The system uses UHF transmission and reception with FM modulation.

The base contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated for approximately 8 hours of operation and up to 24 hours in standby. Power is supplied by a 3.7–4.5 V lithium PO battery. The 50 cm gooseneck microphone uses a hypercardioid capsule that captures speech accurately, limits ambient noise and improves intelligibility. An LED indicator at the microphone tip shows when the microphone is active, allowing participants to see who is speaking.

An LCD screen on the unit displays battery level, selected channel and microphone status. Three buttons provide access to volume, channel and identification settings. The priority function allows the chairman to temporarily mute delegates' microphones, keeping the discussion under control. Transmission encryption is also supported to protect communications in corporate or institutional environments.

Up to 5 microphones can be used simultaneously: 1 chairman microphone and 4 delegate microphones. The microphone connects to the base automatically, sends audio in real time and gives the chairman simple, immediate controls for directing the discussion, while preserving high sound quality and completely wireless operation. Frequency response is 60 Hz–16 kHz, sensitivity at 1 kHz and 1 Pa is -40 dBV, S/N ratio is greater than 85 dB, and THD is below 0.8%. Consumption is 630 mW, falling to 360 mW in standby.
