Pair of wireless chairman microphone bases with gooseneck microphone - HPA MSC-HPASC2288D

The package contains two HPA SC-2288C units. Each one combines a base microphone with a gooseneck microphone for the HPA SC-2288R wireless conference system and acts as the main control unit in the system’s UHF network. Radio communication takes place in the 610–659.75 MHz band, providing stable operation with a range of up to approximately 60 metres under normal conditions.

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery is built into the base microphone. It offers approximately 8 hours of continuous operation and up to 24 hours in standby. The gooseneck microphone uses a hypercardioid capsule to capture speech accurately, reduce ambient noise, and improve intelligibility. An LED indicator at the tip shows when the microphone is active. An LCD display on the unit shows battery level, selected channel, and microphone status, while three buttons control volume, channel, and identification settings.

As a chairman version, the SC-2288C includes a priority function. The chairman can press the priority button to temporarily mute the delegates’ microphones and keep the discussion orderly. Transmission encryption is also supported to protect communication confidentiality in corporate or institutional settings. The microphone connects automatically to the base, sends audio in real time, and gives the chairman straightforward controls for directing the discussion, while retaining high sound quality and fully wireless operation.

UHF transmission and reception use a carrier frequency of 610–659.75 MHz with FM modulation. The pickup pattern is hypercardioid, the display is LCD, and the priority function is available. Up to 5 microphones can operate simultaneously: 1 chairman microphone and 4 delegate microphones. Power is supplied by a 3.7–4.5 V lithium PO battery. The gooseneck length is 50 cm; frequency response is 60 Hz–16 kHz, sensitivity at 1 kHz and 1 Pa is -40 dBV, the signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 85 dB, and THD is less than 0.8%. Consumption is 630 mW, or 360 mW in standby.
