The Evolite Moving Beam 7R MKII set contains 2 moving head beam fixtures and a flight case. Designed for high-end professional lighting applications, each unit uses a 230 W Osram short-arc light source; the technical data also identifies the lamp as an Osram Sirius HRI 231 W short-arc lamp. Its highly clear 136 mm diameter anti-reflective optics generate a uniform, intensely bright beam with strong colour saturation, further concentrated by the narrow 2.5° beam angle. Maximum luminous flux is 164,230 lx at 10 m.

Motorised focus, a Frost filter that turns the beam into a wash, and a 16- and 24-facet rotating prism expand the available effects. The fixture includes an 11-colour wheel, a wheel with 16 fixed metal gobos, a mechanical shutter for the strobe effect, and highly dynamic, varied automatic modes. Totem modes provide 180° operation. Special 16-bit three-phase stepper motors deliver exceptionally fast and precise movement, while Wireless Solution DMX technology provides an integrated receiver for W-DMX control. Available control modes are wired DMX, W-DMX Wireless Solution, automatic operation and sound detection.

Movement ranges are Pan 360°, 540° or 630° and Tilt 90°, 180° or 270°, with 2 DMX modes offering 14 or 16 channels. A 2.4-inch colour TFT display supports operation, and omega mounting clips are supplied. Cooling uses forced ventilation with temperature control. Lighter and more compact than other moving heads in its category, these fixtures are faster than previous-generation moving heads and suit applications requiring precision, a sharp beam and very high light output.

Maximum power consumption is 270 W. Each fixture measures 307 x 224 x 435 mm, while each carton measures 445 x 275 x 525 mm; net weight is 12.8 kg per unit. The set is suitable for concerts and live shows, sports events, presentations, trade fairs, festivals and events.
