Stereo male 6.3 mm Jack connector, inline, disassembled - Neutrik NEU-NP3X-D

The NEUTRIK NP3X-D is a disassembled 3-pole male professional 6.3 mm, or 1/4-inch, stereo phone plug. It combines a compact, robust metal body with nickel-plated contacts and shell, plus a chuck-type strain relief. The slimline shell is 14.5 mm wide and supports high-density use in jackfields with a 15.88 mm jack pitch. Its precision-machined one-piece tip contact is made without rivets, avoiding contact-tip hook-up in a socket and preventing the tip from breaking off.

The Plug X series refines the earlier C-series design with an extra-slim A-gauge 1/4-inch plug for guitar applications, audio cables, snakes, loudspeakers, amplifiers and mixing desks. The die-cast zinc shell provides robustness, while the sleek shape improves handling convenience; the chuck system provides reliable cable retention. The connection type is Plug and the gender is male. Electrical contact resistance and rated current per contact depend on the mating connector. Dielectric strength is 1 kV DC, initial insulation resistance exceeds 2 GΩ and rated voltage is below 50 V.

The plug is suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 4–7 mm, 1 mm² or 18 AWG wire sizes and solder contacts; its lifetime exceeds 1000 mating cycles. The bushing and strain relief are Polyacetal (POM) + PU, contacts are Brass (CuZn39Pb3), the insert is Polyamide (PA 6.6 30% GR), and the shell is Zinc diecast (ZnAl4Cu1) with Nickel plating. It complies with IEC 60603-11 and EIA RS-453, solderability complies with IEC 68-2-20, and the temperature range is -20 °C to +65 °C. The loose package contains 100 pieces.
