NEUTRIK NAC3MX-W-TOP is a locking male powerCON TRUE1 TOP cable connector with screw terminals. It is a 16 A single-phase true mains connector for outdoor applications and replaces appliance couplers wherever a very rugged construction and a locking device are required for a safe power connection. Its breaking capacity, CBC, allows connection or disconnection under load or while live. The sealed heavy-duty power connector is designed for harsh and demanding environments, with IP65 protection and certified outdoor protection according to UL 50E enclosure type 4 in mated condition. It uses high-impact UV-resistant materials and provides unique Neutrik cable retention. The rating is 16 A in Europe and 20 A in the USA; the rated voltage is 250 V AC according to EN 60320-1 in Europe and according to UL 60320-1 and C22.2 No. 60320-1:19 in the USA. The simple twist lock system is reliable, while the construction is extremely robust and reliable. The model is ENEC certified according to IEC 60320 and UL498 certified.

Contact resistance is ≤ 2 mΩ, dielectric strength is 4 kV DC / 2.8 kV AC, and insulation resistance is > 0.1 GΩ after the IEC 68-2-30 damp heat test. The connector has 2 electrical contacts plus PE. It accepts cable O.D. from 6–12 mm and offers a lifetime of > 5000 mating cycles. Wire size is 1.0–2.5 mm², also specified as 12 AWG. Contacts have 2 µm Ag plating and are made from CuNi1Si0.2; the insert is polyamide PA 6.6 30% GR, the locking element is ZuAl4Cu1, the shell is polyamide PA 6.6 30% GR, and the strain relief is polyacetal POM. Flammability is UL 94 V-0. Protection class is IP65 with UL50E enclosure type 4 in mated condition, and the temperature range is -30 to 80 °C.
