The U5 Mini Fader is a compact, portable event controller built to make live production workflows quick and efficient. This version ships with a protective case and accessories. Previewed at ISE 2025, it brings the Pixelhue control ecosystem to a lighter format that is easier to carry, while keeping the same operating philosophy as the larger U5 controller.

Unlike systems relying only on a touchscreen, the U5 Mini uses mechanical buttons that deliver tactile feedback, precision and operating safety, even in dark or high-pressure settings such as live control rooms and broadcast productions. It is aimed at operators who want a complete control surface in limited space: this "Fader" variant gives precise, immediate command of transitions and is optimised for fast workflows and simplified operation.

Its defining trait is extreme portability: it slips easily into a backpack or technical case, takes up very little room in the control room and can be installed in seconds, which makes it ideal for mobile productions and flypack setups. It also supports the Companion/Stream Deck ecosystem, so you can build highly customised macros, presets and multi-device workflows, and it works seamlessly with PixelFlow and the whole Pixelhue range of switchers. USB-C power removes external power supplies, cuts down on cabling and speeds up deployment even further.

Portability, tactile control, simplified power and advanced integration make the U5 Mini Fader a modern, efficient and affordable solution for anyone who needs a professional controller without the bulk of a full-size console.
