PIXELHUE EP4T-S is a fibre-optic transmitter designed to extend audio and video signals over long distances without loss of quality. Fibre transmission overcomes cable-length and signal-degradation limits while remaining resistant to electromagnetic interference, so the signal stays stable even in difficult electromagnetic environments. The unit can operate in stand-alone mode, for example together with a NovaStar LED processor, or it can be paired with the EP4R receiver. It can also be integrated with all Novastar devices fitted with fibre-optic input and output.

For architectural installations, EP4T can send two uncompressed 4K video signals to a pair of video projectors when the source is positioned far from the destination. On university campuses, it transfers a pair of uncompressed 4K signals between separate points and bypasses the limits of traditional connections. At live events and in video control rooms, fibre carries the signal from a control room located away from the stage directly to stage monitors or other devices, preserving quality and stability.

Its 8 / 10-bit lossless compression maintains clear, detailed images. The compact enclosure and Plug & Play installation simplify setup and provide immediate signal extension. The transmitter includes 4 EOLP-1396-10-I single-mode modules and supports a maximum transmission distance of 3 km. Functions include 8-bit / 10-bit lossless Ultra-HD transmission, 8-bit 4:4:4 up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz and 10-bit 4:4:4 up to 4096 x 2160 @ 30 Hz, clear signal indicators for monitoring device status, EDID passthrough for compatibility with various devices, input copy support, 3D and HDR passthrough, remote control of multi-platform PC hosts through KVM roaming and HDCP-encrypted video transmission.

The HDMI input handles, at 8 bit, RGB 4:4:4 up to 8192 x 1080 @ 60 Hz and 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, YCbCr 4:4:4 up to 8192 x 1080 @ 60 Hz and 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, YCbCr 4:2:2 up to 8192 x 1080 @ 60 Hz and 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, plus YCbCr 4:2:0 up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. At 10 bit it supports RGB 4:4:4 up to 4096 x 2160 @ 54 Hz and 3600 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, YCbCr 4:4:4 with the same limits, and YCbCr 4:2:2 up to 4096 x 2160 @ 5.
