PIXELHUE EP2-S is a fibre optic extender for transmitting and receiving video and audio signals over long distances, overcoming the limitations of conventional cables. A switch selects TX or RX operation. The unit provides one HDMI input, one DisplayPort input, one HDMI output and one DisplayPort output, together with 2 optical ports fitted with single-mode modules and supporting a maximum transmission distance of 3 km. Lossless transmission technology supports resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz, while 8 / 10-bit lossless compression preserves clear, detailed images for professional applications. Its compact enclosure and Plug & Play design simplify installation.

EP2-S can operate either as a transmitter or as a receiver, with HDMI and DisplayPort inputs and HDMI and OPT outputs for fibre transmission. Direct output, copy, mosaic and conversion modes provide advanced signal management. BCTools software allows the device to be updated and its settings to be managed, while USB and RS232 connections support computer control. The unit is designed for 24/7 operation. Listed applications include broadcast, live events, conference rooms, monitoring centres and Digital Signage.

The system includes 2 single-mode fibre optic modules. Clear signal indicators make device status easy to monitor, while EDID passthrough support helps maintain compatibility with various devices. Input copy, 3D passthrough and HDR are also supported.
