PTZ camera Link 4K 12x auto tracking white - PTZOPTICS POP-PT12X-LINK-4K-WH

PTZOptics POP-PT12X-LINK-4K-WH is a white PTZ camera built around a 1/2.5" Sony UHD CMOS sensor with 8.51 effective Mpixels. It captures up to 4K UHD at 60 fps or 1080p at 60 fps over SDI. A 3D noise-reduction system supports performance in low-light conditions, while the bright 12x optical zoom, rated F1.8 ~ F2.6, uses f = 4.4 ~ 52.8 mm optics, equivalent to 25 ~ 299 mm in 35 mm format, and provides a horizontal field of view from 6.9° to 72.5° and a vertical field of view from 3.9° to 44.8°. Minimum illumination is 0.5 lx at F1.8 with AGC on, and shutter speed ranges from 1/30 s to 1/10,000 s.

Auto tracking follows the framed subject without a camera operator. Presenter Lock keeps the camera attached to a selected person at distances up to 60 m, even when other people are also in the shot, while the integrated tracking system lets users switch between presenters on stage with one button press. Video tracking is supported, as are image flip, mirror and freeze functions.

The updated PTZOptics Web UI places auto-tracking management within a straightforward menu system. Link 4K output options include SDI, HDMI, USB and IP. Dante AV-H is built in, allowing video and audio routing, configuration and device management through one platform. The camera automatically synchronises with the Dante system clock for AV synchronisation and can natively stream Dante AV-H video over the network alongside sources connected to the 3.5 mm audio input. Link 4K therefore combines broadcast quality with simplified Dante discovery, setup and management.

Networking is handled by an RJ45 adaptive 10/100/1000M Ethernet interface supporting PoE+ (802.3at). Link 4K PTZ cameras can be operated with OBS, Livestream Studio, Wirecast, vMix, mimoLive or Tricaster, or with a PTZOptics hardware joystick controller. Integration with Blackmagic switchers is also provided. The camera can be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world through several tools, including cloud-based software such as Zoom, and can stream live directly to CDNs such as Facebook and Youtube. A supplied remote controller and a dedicated App are also available; the Tally light is included.

Voice-Tracking is available in beta testing. It applies beamforming algorithms to detect and follow the speaker’s voice, automatically panning, tilting and zooming around the subject regardless of their position in the room. Several mounting options are available. Rear-board connections include 1 HDMI version 2.0, 1 USB 2.0 type A and 1 2-pin Phoenix port with RS485 input/output, a maximum distance of 1200 m and VISCA / Pelco-D / Pelco-P protocols.

The video section provides 1 RJ45 adaptive 10/100/1000M Ethernet port, listed with 424M standard, and 1 BNC-type 3G-SDI output rated 800 mV p-p and 75 ohm according to the SMPTE 424M standard. Audio uses 1 3.5 mm line-level input. Communication comprises 1 8-pin mini-DIN RS232 input and 1 8-pin mini-DIN RS232 output, each with a maximum distance of 30 m and VISCA / Pelco-D / Pelco-P protocols. Power options are 12 V DC or PoE+ (802.3at), with maximum input power of 18 W; construction uses aluminium and plastic.

Pan movement is ±170° at 1.7° ~ 100°/s, while tilt movement spans +90° to -30° at 1.7° ~ 69.9°/s. There are 255 presets. Dimensions are 141.5 x 151 x 176 mm (W x D x H), or 201 mm with tilt up, and weight is 1.47 kg. The camera is intended for indoor operation, with an operating temperature of -10 °C to 40 °C and a storage temperature of -40 °C to 60 °C. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty.
